Our services.

  • Acupuncture

Hair-thin needles are inserted and retained to ease the body into a peaceful rest, digest, + repair state. Once the stress response is eliminated, the body can achieve homeostasis. Since Acupuncture encourages the body’s own healing response, there isn’t much that can’t be treated with Acupuncture.

  • Herbal Medicine Consultation

Plant medicine goes back to our earliest ancestors. The herbs used at Sacred Sea are pharmaceutical grade, and tested for heavy metals, pesticides, etc. to make sure it is the cleanest form of herbal medicine available. Custom prescriptions are based on each patient’s current need. This consultation is included in a New Patient Acupuncture appointment or can be booked separately.

  • Firecupping

A small flame is introduced into a glass cup to create a vacuum. The cup is applied to the body at therapeutic locations. The amount of suction can be altered for patient comfort. Cupping helps release stubborn muscle tension and stimulates white blood cell production. This creates a systemic immune boosting response.

  • Therapeutic Bodywork

Katie was a massage therapist for over 15 years. Therapeutic bodywork is a great addition to Acupuncture. You can choose bodywork as an add-on to any acupuncture treatment, or it can be booked as a stand alone service. This is indicated for injury prevention and relief. It’s also an effective treatment for a tension headache. Katie is experienced in pre and postnatal treatments.

Abdominal massage is offered to support fertility and address digestive concerns. A warming lamp is placed above the abdomen as gentle to firm pressure is used to increase blood flow and increase space for the organs to function. Abdominal massage stimulates the vagus nerve, helping you relax into a rest and digest state.

Optional tools: Gua Sha, Acupressure, Fire Cupping, Hot Towels, Essential Oils.

  • Lifestyle + Diet

How we live determines how we feel. Each choice points us in the direction of health or disease. The information floating around the internet is confusing and contradictory. Katie makes custom suggestions based on her education and your diagnosis. Every-BODY is not the same. Let’s evaluate what your body is telling us it needs.
